Better than any other type of mounting device
The Garmin Portable Friction Mount keeps my nuvi secure while in plain sight unlike any other type of mounting device before it. Its design made it perfect for the slope of my windshield, which previously was the worst place for any device to be mounted on. The mount is stable and does not slide. The design also allows me to adjust my nuvi in any direction I want. Another great thing about this product is that it can be easily removed and placed inside the car. I usually find that placing the mount under the seat of my car is the perfect solution for keeping my GPS and mount safe from thefts.Opening clamshell packaging is the worst process in the world, so I was happy to find that the product comes delivered in the Amazon Frustration Free packaging, which does away with cables and wires and the much-hated clamshell design packaging. In this packaging, the product is secure during shipping and is very easy to take out without the need for a box cutter or scissors. To top it all off, the mount does not leave ugly round rings on my windshield, unlike the mounts that I used before. By far, the Garmin Friction Mount gives me the best use for my money compared to all other windshield mounts I have tried.
