Cell Phone Review: Samsung Captivate Android Phonecategories: Cell Phones & Accessories, smartphone
Iphone Killer for SureI got my Captivate at 9:00 am and was off to the races in about an hour after my AT&T rep. showed me the basics. This phone is a work horse. Functions are very fast and responsive. The home menu is easy to navigate through and the apps are awesome. I pulled up the Google map for gps and it didn't take long at all for it to find me and I'm down here in southwest Louisiana. I love the way this phone can give you so much versatility with just a swipe or tap of a button. The camera and video on this thing is so sharp that you forget it is still a phone. Colors are life-like and not overpowering.
I know it has no flash but the ability to set you picture at the touch of a button in low light areas don't affect its clarity. Would like a stronger battery life, but not a deal breaker at all. One thing i would hope is for Samsung to put more effort into getting a booklet on all the rest of the features this machine can do without having to find them out on your own. Someone should make an app for that alone and put it out for us rookies.
