Dylan James about this book: Stage 6 follows the rise of the Zombie Apocalypse and its subsequent impact on the world. Told from the viewpoint of seventeen-year-old Jack, the story is centered on a contagious virus coursing through the population. The virus, dubbed the "Infection" by the survivors, transforms people into vicious predators. Jack and his family don't realize what is happening until it is too late, and suddenly find themselves thrust into a savage new world. In the midst of mass hysteria and panic, Jack has to come up with a plan fast or risk a horrible death. Where do they go? The roads are jammed, they're pressed in on all sides, and every night they hear the screams of other survivors falling prey to the Infected. It is kill or be killed, and time is running out.
I wrote Stage 6 for what I consider to be the unappreciated Zombie Genre. In recent years Zombies have been getting more and more attention, most notably from The Walking Dead and World War Z, but still the genre deserves more. Being a fan of George Romero's zombie films, I am disappointed that there are not more "survival" adventure stories like his being made today. The book is intended for zombie fans, and was written primarily for Young Adult readers.

A fun adventure
The book is a fun adventure. It is exciting, creative, and even funny at times. That being said, it can be a bit unrealistic at certain points in the story. Overall, I would recommend the book to a friend- especially for 2.99 lol
