Hannah Harveyabout this book: How I Got Here is a young adult fiction book which I wrote in less than a month, the editing process took far longer.
To my readers:
I'd just like to say a huge thank you to anyone who buys my book, and if you do read it I would love to hear feedback. I love getting reviews of my work.
Through dual narration it tells the story of River, an eighteen year old girl who is in the hospital, she's been there for a while but nobody has been able to get through to her.
The story begins when Oliver, a young doctor who has taken on her case, gains her trust and gets her to open up to him.
Using letters River details the events that led to her emotional and physical problems, each letter going deeper into her past and everything she's been through.
The letters are alternated with third person narrative following Oliver in his sessions with River, and his home life.
Oliver tries to help her through her issues, and as he does he gets closer to her.
This is the first book that I've had published, but I hope to have more in the future because I love to write, and enjoy sharing my work.
