Kemdi Ikabout this book: Jeanna Rowe lives by one rule: don't ever cry. And she's sure of one thing: life is unfair.
It's been about four months since two unbearable events took place in her life. One being the death of her mother.
"I'm going to be okay. I have to be okay." But her mantra can only get her so far if she's not willing to speak up. She needs to put on the facade. If no one knows, then no one will ask and she wouldn't ever have to say anything... She couldn't have been more wrong, because life has a way of throwing unexpected daggers. And it's just thrown one her way. She may only be seventeen, but things are about to get a lot darker in her life, with or without her permission.
In this young adult/new adult novel, Jeanne is about to find out that she doesn't always have to fight her demons alone.
From the author:
-This book started out interesting for me. I never intended to publish it because I didn't actually think that I'd truly write out the story. But as time went by, it wasn't long before I noticed that the story had come full circle. Et viola, "Take Me Far Away" was created.
-This book is recommended to readers aged 16 and up, as it deals with sensitive topics.
-I received submissions from various book cover designers that all blended well with the story, but only one could be chosen. My sister actually ended up picking the official cover (so now you know who to blame if you don't like it). On a serious note, I do love the cover. It displays the overall feel of the main protagonist (at least, at the start of it all).
-Unfortunately, I can't go on without ruining a few surprises.
