Book: The Dream Hiker by Padmaja Khanna

Padmaja Khannaabout this book: The book is about intertwining of dreams and reality, a fun adventure set in exotic places, and a mysterious quest for something intriguing. It is the story of a 17 year-old high-school student, Jack Treole, whose view of the world and life changes as he goes through these experiences along with two accidental friends.
This is a perfect read for teenagers - the younger ones would enjoy the action, while the older ones are likely to relate to the metaphysical aspects behind the action. Though written with the young adults in mind, the concepts in the book are equally appealing to the adult readers.
This is my debut novel. The two years I spent writing and polishing this novel have been extremely rewarding. I have not only learned a great deal about the craft of writing and the intricacies of publishing, but have also understood what it is to be detail-oriented and possess immeasurable patience. I certainly am a new-and-improved "me" after going through this experience. I hope the book is an enjoyable read for all, and that it encourages the readers to venture beyond the accepted thought boundaries.
