Y I Leeabout this book: A laser onto a hologram is like a mirror opening up a three dimensional world.
"Through a Glass" is a fantasy. The novel is inspired by a small glass horse which was left to me by an elderly lady I used to help out. This newly released book is the revised version of the original novel.
The cover was put together with the help of some friends, a good camera, clever lighting, some lush red velvet, and the little glass horse. As for the title, somehow it just popped into my head, along with the story. The whole thing seemed to flow and was an invigorating experience.
I used to do a lot of painting, mostly in oils. I always made sure I positioned the canvas I was working on in such a way, that the picture was reflected in a mirror. It's a marvellous aid with perspective, and it gave me the idea for my story.
Within the pages of the book there is excitement and fear, as Irene and Stagman come up against what would seem to be insurmountable challenges, as they struggle to complete their quest to save the Prince's stallion.
Through a Glass is aimed at 12 year olds, but is also read and enjoyed by adults. The book is available in paperback as well as e-book.
• "A world through a mirror, talking animals, gruesome hideous beasts, evil trees and an important quest to be completed." [Amazon reviewer]
• "From the moment Irene enters Stagman's domain it is clear that there will be excitement and adventure." [Amazon reviewer]
