Heidi Angellabout this book: Creative exercises to inspire is a bunch of creative exercises to help boost you find your creative voice, and to boost your creative ideas. The book is based on the author's summer program plan that she did with her neighborhood to help underprivileged youth find their creative voice. Because the author is a writer, she focused the program on writing, but she also incorporated other creative activities, such as eco-art, free-writing to music, creative rapping, painting to music, picking up a musical instrument, and many other fun and creative activities. Any time you do something creative, it helps to boost your creativity all around.
The summer program was designed for 5-10 year old children, but older and often younger siblings wanted to come too! They all thoroughly enjoyed the activities in this book, and a lot of the other adult helpers did as well! These creative exercises are great for anyone looking for ideas to help them find (or re-connect with) their creative voice.
