Molly Dillonabout this book: After her husband dies, leaving her a widow at the age of forty-five, Margo Blair finds herself a victim of his lies and innuendos. The necessity to start over, forces her to sell her Victorian home and all of her antique furnishings. A hasty, serendipitous decision then guides Margo to leave Portland and return to Blue Harbor, the town where she once lived as a teenager.
In this quaint, seaside village, she befriends her lively neighbor, an endearing woman of eighty, who possesses more energy and fun than the ordinary, everyday octogenarian. The friendship leads to the making of a memory quilt, to long-hidden secrets and lost loves.
What will the secrets reveal? On her own for the first time, will Margo, like the proverbial caterpillar, experience a metamorphosis, transforming her from a shy, insecure woman into a strong confident force? Or will the secrets destroy her?
Margo is the first in a series of Blue Harbor Novels. The second book of the series, Destiny's Star, will be released at the end of 2013.
