Consuella Harris about this book: The story is about three women who choose to become surrogates. The reader follows the lives of these women as they become surrogates and why this becomes a viable opportunity for them. I was inspired to write the story after watching a TV interview in which the women wishing to purchase the services of a surrogate expressed her preferences. Much of what the woman said seemed superficial requirements and it made me want to write about the subject showing pros and cons in a nonjudgmental way. I believe the primary readers are women over 18, who enjoy women's issues and mysteries. It took me thirty years due to breaks because of a demanding career. I came up with the title because it stresses what the subject is about. The cover depicts various women of different races pregnant with the surrogate babies. The hardest part was making time to finish the book and obtaining an Agent. I did research for the book to understand the medical process and surrogates' roles. Writing a book was the most grueling and satisfying experience I've ever had. I want my readers to learn more about this increasingly popular alternative to child bearing process, relate to the surrogates, the adopting parents and the children born from the procedure. Lastly, I want them to enjoy the mystery and try to guess "who done it."
