Jenny Gillabout this book: This book is about a woman, a mature woman, who meets someone and suddenly wonders if she is with the wrong person, even though they have been together for more than half a lfetime. It tells of her dilemma as she has to decide whether hurting the people closest to her can be justified by the chance of her own future happiness. The dilemma is not made easier by the fact that she is married to a clergyman, a good man, who does everything for other people.
In the end the decision has to be hers and hers alone, but it is the hardest thing she has ever had to do.
I got the idea for the story, while walking in the beach - I always do my best thinking while walking. I didn't deliberately plan the story, it just evolved in my mind.
I think this will appeal mainly to women, and also mainly to women in the Baby Boomer age category, as I am.
This is the second book in the series Southhill Sagas, set as they all are in Surrey, to the south of London.
