Ann Rothabout this book: This book, previously sold to a print publisher, has always been near and dear to my heart. When I first thought about writing a story featuring three sisters, I knew only that I wanted them to be estranged and that somehow they would come together. To help flesh out the story and each sister's personality I tried a technique some of my writer friends use—collaging. I was skeptical about the process but figured it couldn't hurt. To my pleased surprised, when I finished the collage, I knew a lot about the characters and the story I wanted to tell.
In some families, there is pain and loss, but there is also the unbreakable bond of love. Sisters Margaret, Rose and Quincy Lansing were never a close or loving family. When receive the tragic news that a car accident has claimed the life of their mother, they must return to their childhood home. In unraveling their mother's secrets, they find not only revelation, but also strength, hope, sisterhood, and a chance for love...
