Jan Marshabout this book: Earlier in 2014 I self- published LIVING SPACE, a novel about a group of friends who set up a cohousing community on the English/Welsh borders For me the writer there seemed to be so many possibilities for this group of characters, so many ways that the plot could go that I began to plan a trilogy based on their community at Foxwood.
Plot lines I used in this second volume tended to be more serious as they dealt with issues such as ageing and health, but I think I've managed to emphasise the positive aspects of co living here too and there is a lot of humour and positivity in the unfolding stories. The same circle of residents holds the plot together and allows readers to satisfy their curiosity about 'what happened next', but with the expansion of the units available at Foxwood, there are a few new faces to add to the mix.
I hope those who enjoyed LIVING SPACE will also like this second part of the series and will continue to offer me ideas for story lines and opinions about their favourite and least favourite characters.
The greatest compliment I have received after the publication of LIVING SPACE has been when readers have said, "I wish I lived there!"
