Book: A Witch Without Magic by Larisa Walk

Larisa Walkabout this book: I don't talk about myself, but my writer, Larisa Walk, is making me do it. If you were an ex-con and a witch, you wouldn't want everybody and his pet cockroach to know about you. Not to mention that my shady past could be bad for business. People look at us witches with suspicion or else they think we are two stitches short of a straight jacket. But you can't tell your writer no, because she can do very unpleasant things to you, like make you belch when you are on a hot date in a five-star restaurant, or have you lose your lunch all over your antagonist just when you thought you talked him out of killing you.
Anyway, my name's Belladonna. I did time in prison for blowing up a slaughterhouse. While incarcerated I had an affair with a correctional officer, which led to his wife being so unhappy with me, she framed me for draining life from my neighbors, stole my magic, made my resident ghost, Countess Olga, go poltergeist, and abducted my best friend, the guardian spirit of my house. I probably deserved all this, but not my neighbors and friends. To save them, I had to get my magic back by traveling to the Otherworld where I faced my worst fears. Did you know that your fears - like butterflies with razor wings - can come true there? Be happy if you don't know.
