Ken Tilburyabout this book: THE GOLDEN HORN based on fact and true life events, is a book with a message: save wildlife in Africa.
The story is about a family starting a new life, who stumble across a Rhino and Elephant poaching operation run by an unscrupulous, greedy individual who sells his rhino horns and elephant tusks to buyers in the East for vast amounts of money.
During their efforts to help stop this man's illegal operations the family find themselves chasing back and forth between Zimbabwe and Mozambique as they pursue the poachers. A man is killed, a woman raped and two others kidnapped as the hunt continues.
The reader will be horrified at the brutal killing of big game animals and will experience the thrill of game fishing in the Indian Ocean.
The author feels so strongly about this illicit trade that he provides a portion of the royalties from the sale of this book to the charity, 'Save the Rhino.'
• "The story is fast moving and exciting throughout, a book that's hard to put down and in buying it you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you'll be doing something to help a very worthy cause as well as enjoying a well written story that owes quite a bit more to personal experience than one might imagine. You will not be disappointed." — Bruce Brislin.
