Linell Jeppsenabout this book: A loooooong time ago, (LOL!) I was camping with my husband at Swan Lake, which is a beautiful, little glacial lake nestled in the trees in the mountains of Northeast Washington State.
I had just finished reading Anne Rice's, Interview With A Vampire. As the sun set and a brisk autumn chill rustled the evergreen boughs in the falling dusk, I wondered, What if there a vampires in those dark woods?
As soon as I got home, I grabbed a couple of yellow, legal pads and started writing The Hunt. It was my first book, and, in some ways, remains my favorite to this day.
This is an old-fashioned vampire novel, where the vamps would rather eat you for lunch, than take you to lunch!
The Hunt was first published by a house that finally went out of business, and was re-issued by World Castle Publishing, in June of 2012. It has beautiful new cover art, excellent editing. and over 26- 4 and 5 star reviews.
