Book: Ravaged Truth by Ophelia Dreytoncategories: Book, Claire, Jessica, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Myths, Vampires
Ophelia Dreytonabout this book: This book was inspired by the pure imagination of a young teenager. I was young and believed in these beautiful creatures. I was naive, but I wanted them to be real. Eventually, I decided to write my versions of the vampires, within it adding my own mythical beings.
• Here is my description of the book
Its about a family tied together by blood. It may not always be the happiest of times, but for the most part, they have each others backs. The beginning is a little slow, based on the fact that it leads up to the twenty first century. Its supposed to give you a background on what this lifestyle is like. The want and need for love, children and acceptance.
Then the book switches from being about to women from the 1800's to two pubescent young teenagers who find out about this mysterious world of vampires. Its a unique story and offers a lot of things people often question about.
I want to give readers the chance to understand there is more out there than the blood sucking and adult content. Not all female vampires are lesbians and not every vampire is tall and skinny and lanky. Its about real people becoming the undead. Its about a family striving to stay together.
P.S. THEY DO NOT SPARKLE!
