Shawn Pierre Lytleabout this book: This book is about a gangster's attempt to implement his organized crime tactics on a strip of bars and clubs called the Church Street District in Orlando's downtown area. Organized crime was unheard of in the southern region of the United States. It was something only seen on the news i.e John Gotti's trial. Now a gangster showed up on the scene and was shaking down all the businesses on the strip. Everything was going his way until he ran into one dissenter who stood his ground. His refusal led the gangster to apply pressure which led to murder and mayhem. The war was on and both knew only one of them would survive the war breathing. The people that are trapped around the fallout face some uneasy times. The Church Street District will never be the same at the conclusion of the war.
This book was written with the underworld and organized crime in mind. I wanted to bring the organized crime story line to the south and show how it would play out.
