Fatima Munroe about this book: Chi Town's Queen is a fictional tale set in the inner city of Chicago's west side. The main character, Athena Wilson, is a street smart multi billionaire who has returned to her roots to protect her loved ones. I was inspired to write this tale looking to shine some light on growing up in the inner city of a major U.S. city. Often our stories are told in a negative light, and I wanted to write about a success story that values loyalty and family. It took me about a month to write Chi Town's Queen, mainly because I wanted to ensure that I captured the essence of the area and characters. Although I grew up in Chicago, it's been a while since I've lived there, so I ended up doing research to ensure the authenticity of my work. Overall, the book turned out great, considering it was my first, and I'm just hoping you have as much fun reading Chi Town's Queen as I did writing it! Thanks, and don't forget to leave a review!
