Anne Victoriaabout this book: Nartunda is a newly discovered world that exists between the shadows of reality. Humans can't see it unless they're pulled into it. It is an urban-fantasy novel about a 25 year-old girl who goes on the hunt to save her imprisoned twin sister who she thought died at birth.
I came up with the title on the way to work one day. There was a street sign that said "Nartanda Court" I liked the ring to it, but changed the second "a" to a "u" instead.
The cover is very simple and plain. The black represents the darkness of the world, and if you look closely there's a subtle blue round image in the background behind the first letter of the title. That's the eternal eye that my main character fights for in the novel.
It took 3 years to write, and targets readers who like to read fantasy from ages 15 onward. The ending is left on a cliffhanger, which means another book is in the making.
