Book Reviews: Pure at Heart by Sahana Eparicategories: Book, Fiction, Young Adult, Werewolf, Vampire, Warlock, Paranormal Romance, Friendship, Urban Fantasy
Sahana Epariabout this book: Her whole life, Evaline Pangborne has believed one and only thing. That she was Pure. She was on the right side, and she was good.
She was wrong.
One unplanned trip to the Council headquarters and had changed her life, thoughts, and feelings. Eva went from trustworthy Protector to rebellious escapee and a matter of a second.
In this fantasy novel of many ups and downs, rights and wrongs, action, and romance, 13-year-old Sahana Epari managed to capture the essence of a true supernatural story of a teenager who might look like a normal girl on the outside, but holds a deep, deep secret on the inside.
• About Sahana
Writing Pure at Heart was a surprise to me. I had written many short stories over the past few years, but I had never managed to complete a novel, and on top of that publish it. Writing has always been a way that I expressed myself, and I believe I have achieved that through Pure at Heart. There are a lot of hidden quotes in there that I apply to myself almost every day.
Finding a title, I must say, was maybe the hardest part of completing and publishing this novel. I had to find a way to summarize everything in 1-4 words, and that too, make it sound good, and make it pertain to the actually novel. What I was trying to accomplish, naming the title Pure at Heart, was that it didn't matter if you were from Dark territory or Pure territory. All that mattered was that you were pure—pure at heart.

AmazingCouldn't stop. Can't believe a thirteen year old wrote it! A must-read for werewolf fans, even though it has everything from vampires to warlocks.
RefreshingWhen I first got this book, I wasn't very motivated to read it. When I finally got around to it, I couldn't stop! I saw that the author was only 13, and I was beyond amazed. The book was very refreshing and I have to say I really like it!
