David Masonabout this book: This was hand written in the sixties by my Mother. I have 'straightened it out' mostly by correcting typos, and shortening very long paragraphs. Someone in America typed it out, but she didn't know what to do after that, and niether did I. So it sat on a shelf in her garage in San Clemente, California for years. She sent it to a cousin, hoping he could help, but to no avail. I had a book published by youwriteon.com and sent it there.
It is now a paperback and an Ebook! I only wish she could have seen it. It is her amazing life story, starting in Connecticut, USA in 1902, then being taken at five years old to the UK after a typhoid scare. Survival through the first World War, the Great depression and World War two gave her some incredible experiences, far beyond anything we today could imagine. She always wanted to be able to say "California here I come" and one day she did.
