Author Troy Veenstraabout this book: One of the hardest things about writing this book was the fact that the Victim was my cousin. Jeff was a kind, caring person; always will to help his fellow friends, family and even a stranger if the situation called for it. Jeff was one of those few people that make the world better, stronger and livable. In writing this book, I wanted to show the world that Male Domestic Abuse, that is, Men being abused by their FEMALE lovers happens more than we as a society realize.

I wanted people to know how much this dysfunction has grown through the years and why it continues to be ignored even now in a world, a society that are so keen on the idea of diversity. I wanted the person Jeff was and his story, his death, to be known to the world, and I wanted his Killer, Chiquita R. Fizer to be known for the Murderer she is.

SAD but truer words could not be written

This book is one of those that opens your mind to the reality that we as a society seems to falter in seeing. Had it not been for this book, I would have never looked into the subject of Male Domestic Abuse without laughing at the very thought that a man can be abused by someone that our society claims as the weaker of the sex's and yet there it was staring me in the face. The words that were written in great detail to the brutal slaying of a young man by the woman that should have loved him. Anyone, and everyone should read this book someday. I see it as a learning tool, something i would love to see my kids reading in school and learning that the equality of the sex's is a good thing but at the same time has a darker side of life as well.
