Barbara Wosterabout this book: Love Through Time was the second book I wrote and was inspired by the relationship between my two, then, teenage daughters. The bickering between the two could never overshadow the love evident in their relationship. Never did men come between my two daughters, as it does in my story, and my daughters certainly never got slung back in time . . . but other than that, they were my sole inspiration :-).
Like Only One, Whispers of the Heart, and Edge of Insanity, this book was targeted to a young adult viewing audience and can be read by anyone over the age of 13.
The story centers on college roommates, Savannah and Tyeshia. Savannah is a book worm with a love of history. Her friend, Tyeshia, is more concerned with her appearance and could care less about her education. During some research, Savannah inadvertently opens a door to the past, which threatens the life of her dearest friend.
ABOUT THE PROCESS:
I try to ensure that all of my books are true to the period in which they are written, and also attempt to weave a bit of history into the story without overwhelming the story with historical facts.
As with all of my books, I designed and created the book cover on my own, with lots of input from my family :-).
