David Chilcottabout this book: Cruise the Storm is a must-read for you if you've been on a cruise, or have booked to go. The Helena cruise ship is hi-jacked, caught in a hurricane, holed but not sunk.
While the captain and his chief engineer wrestle in waist high water to carry out repairs to the ship, the passengers rebel at being hijacked, and art tutor and ex-SAS Regiment John McBride leads the crew in an assault on the hijackers. With the aid of the Mafia (a Mafia boss is on the cruise)they manage to regain control of the ship.
The hijack leader is not caught and roams the ship killing passengers. Will his plan to murder the captain succeed? Meanwhile back at head office of the cruise line, the Chairman is having trouble with the press who think the Cruise Line is laundering Mafia money, especially when they see the passenger list, and note the Mafia boss has a suite aboard. A fast pacy action-packed novel you won't be able to put down until the last page.
