Book: The Convert by Fred Andersoncategories: Book, Horror, Action, Religion, Miracles, Telekinesis, Thriller
Fred Andersonabout this book: "The Convert" follows Dan Mackenzie as he experiences something incredible -- perhaps even miraculous -- and comes to learn that the world he thought he knew is nothing like the real one. Now he's on the run from those who wish to kill him, searching for the woman who might hold all the answers.
The book will appeal to adults who are fans of thrillers and light horror. There are some fantastical elements, a little gore, lots of violence and action, and even a little falling in love. The title refers to what Dan has become as part of his awakening. He's a religious fellow (though the book is not), so that plays a big part in his interpretation of the things happening to and around him.
The only thing I want to say to readers is: have fun. "The Convert" isn't meant to teach any lessons or impart some great wisdom. It's supposed to be a fun romp through one man's experiences and nothing more. Pure entertainment.
