Dan Amesabout this book: What would happen if a military recruiter refused to take no for answer?
The result is my thriller, THE RECRUITER.
I decided to write the book after I learned that military recruiters are often forced into the job, and that they must deliver recruits or their future in the military will be jeopardized. It's an extremely high pressure job. So I wondered, what would happen if a dangerous person were forced into the job of being a recruiter?
The book is a great example of what society does to create a demand for success, and how that can often lead to disastrous results. It's also a prime example of a person wanting to win, at all costs.
THE RECERUITER is a fast-paced, no-holds-barred thriller and I'm very proud of it. It is not for the timid, however. The violence is fairly graphic and there are sexual situations.
