Stephani Marie Damatoabout this book: Psychokinesis is a fast-paced teen fantasy novel which focuses on the life of the main protagonist Jenna Cane who is oblivious of an ability that lay dormant within her until a mysterious boy named Caden reveals her gifts, and his as well. Jenna has telekenisis, or psychokinesis; the ability to manipulate objects without physical means. The two are forcibly taken to a place called The Directory which harbors people with powers similar to theirs. With the assistance of friends, Jenna attempts to stop The Directory's maniacle plot once and for all . . . but bravery has a cost.
As a college freshman, this is my first novel. I began writing it two years ago, and am currently progressing through the last two books in the trilogy.
I have been writing since I was 11 and plan to someday be a full-time author. At Slippery Rock University, I study secondary English education and writing. The genre I write and read is primarily teen fantasy.
The cover of my novel was designed by my roommate, Kyla Jones, who is an art major. Fun fact: that's me on the front, posing as Jenna.
