Steve Morrisabout this book: Yes, I can see we're all brilliant now on our keyboards. We're all smart with our phones. If you want something, pick up the phone. Plug it in. Switch it on. You're away. So if you'll excuse me, I have things to do..
Not so fast.
When the whole lot goes POP. What are you going to do then?
No internet. No mobile phone. No TV. No radio. No electricity. No running water. You can't flush your toilet and your car won't start. Do you get the idea?
This could happen.
Theoretically if on of the Sun's perfectly natural electromagnetic solar flares hits us full on, this could happen.
Playing Havoc is Steve Morris's debut technothriller focusing on the inhabitants of a close knit island just off the UK. People live there to mind their own business. When the switch is pulled, we soon find out who'll be running the show.
Steve is no domesday prepper but he's been interviewed on national radio about Playing Havoc and thinks that we had better learn some basic survival skills just in case something like this kicks off, whether natural or person-made.
