Book Review: Stolen Horses, Stolen Hearts - A Clean Romance Novella with Humor and Suspense by Cindy A. Christiansen

Cindy A. Christiansenabout this book: My cousin says to me, "I've got an idea for one of your books. Write about the Pony Express Trail, horse thieves, and a lot of good-looking cowboys." Thus Stolen Horses, Stolen Hearts was written and what a ride!
Harlee Jo Holiday is a hardworking cowgirl. When two of her horses are stolen, she needs help tracking the thieves. This leads her to Oak Whitlock, the best tracker in the western part of Utah, who has secluded himself away in the Stansbury Mountain range. He feels so guilty about his mother's death that even his horse and dog can't stand to be around him.
So when Harlee Jo shows up needing his help, it turns his world upside down. They set off on a rip-roaring ride to rescue her stolen horses. Will Harlee Jo be able to lasso this ornery cowboy's heart?
This is a sweet romance western novella with humor and suspense. Sweet romance means there are no bedroom scenes and it's suitable for your grandmother to your granddaughter to read.

great storyI enjoyed this book. A clean, fun romance that is enjoyable read. The characters are easy to follow and having the dogs as part of the story adds some humor and lightness. I would say that this story is young adult reader appropriate. [by Karryn]
