Book: Short and Sweet - 19 New Zealand Romances by Kris Pearsoncategories: Book, Short Stories, Feel-Good Themes, Happy Endings, Magazine-Style, New Zealand, Sweet Romance
Kris Pearsonabout this book: I've always enjoyed writing short stories, and I've sold them to magazines and radio over the years. I've also entered them in competitions and done quite well. Just for fun, a few years ago I bundled my favourites into fives and put them out as three 99 cent collections on Amazon.
However, when it came time to have all my covers redesigned I really couldn't justify the expense of three new covers. So now I have one book of short stories, but there are nineteen of them. If you enjoy magazine-style stories, this is for you. Sweet and clean. Happy, and sometimes quite funny. It's a collection you can dip into when you want a feel-good boost.
In line with featuring pieces of New Zealand scenery on my covers, this is Kemp House way up in the north of the country. It's our oldest wooden house, and these days it's sometimes used as a wedding venue which seemed appropriate for a collection of romantic stories.
