Book: Pelican Bay by Jesse Giles Christiansen

Jesse Giles Christiansenabout this book: Some fictional characters and worlds can feel so real that after reading their books, you forget which memories are your own, and which ones were wrought of fiction. PELICAN BAY is one of these books. Caution, once you enter here there may be no turning back. An Amazon list bestseller one month running now, I'm confident that you won't want to.
PELICAN BAY was inspired by a strange dream where I stood with an ex-girlfriend peering out to sea at dark rocks lurking beneath the surf. I awoke haunted, and began writing the novel. By the end of the first chapter, the biggest, most complicated, and exciting character seemed to emerge magically from the very pages. Mysterious Captain Shelby, an old fisherman of unknown age and origin. As the storm-riddled, nosy, quirky town of Pelican Bay, South Carolina, discovers an undersea cemetery and begins to investigate the old man, a domino chain of events ensues that leads to an outcome that neither the reader nor Pelican Bay may be prepared for.
