Dr. Judith Rolfsabout this book: This suspense novel was almost twenty years in the writing. I wrote the first draft after hearing a speaker talk about assisted suicide and started playing what-if ideas about a future with too many elderly for the next generation to support. Frankly I thought the plot was too bizarre to be believable, but not so any more. My main character is an agnostic whose ultra sophisticated husband became a Christian and the sparks fly. She's faced with a career decision that means life or death for millions.
Directive 99's reviews have been gratifying. My favorites are: OPEN THE COVER AND HANG ON! "Very engrossing read, and very chilling. Here I sit at 3am finishing up this book, it grabbed me and wouldn't let me go."
MUST READ! "This book is like a glimpse of the near future, with all too real horrors of things to come. I recommend this book to everyone for a real eye-opening experience." May this story NEVER become reality.
