Book Review: Babylon Boyz by Jess Mowrycategories: Book, Gangs, Young Adults, Black Kids, African American, Street Kids
Author: Jess Mowry
Brand: Brand: Aladdin
Rocks!Babylon Boyz is one of those few books that I wanted to keep going on so I could read about how the main characters, Dante, Pook, and Wyatt go on with their lives and challenges. Babylon Boyz is about real friendship and staying true to your friends no matter what happens. It made me remember that if you don't have real friends then your life is not much no matter how much money you have. It is also a story about how good kids survive in a dirty violent world. I have read all of Jess Mowry's books and I like them all but this is one of his best. I hope there is a sequel someday. I thought the movie was good too.
