JF Ansteadabout this book: A collection of spiritual fantasies and deeply romantic poetry that is meant to inspire and warm the soul. The stories are three far from mainstream visions of god that show how our beliefs are all same no matter how our personal vision colors it.
In these stories Goddesses play central role in the nature of god being either God himself as the lady of the lake in the White spider trilogy, being the Mother progenitor as in Saint Oberon or being God's partner the lady of the pearls as in The Pearl. These feminine archetypes differ from the mainstream in which god is always the father. But we all swim in different waters and belief is never absolute it is the product of our personality more than the product of a definitive idea of god. God universally is a feeling and it may be the only thing of god we can agree on. These stories tap into that feeling of god which is universal and allow us to see that god is not about what the gender is or what god might look like but god is that feeling of love and kindness and resides in all our souls if we only allow ourselves to feel it.
