Daniel Allen DuBourabout this book: Life's Journeys is a book of short stories about ten individuals with completely different life styles. Each story is about a particular individual who passes from life into the spiritual world. All are met by an angel who greets them into the spiritual world. Some express disbelief that they are dead, but the angel reassures them and calms their fears.
The angel then takes them by the hand and escorts each to a place I named, The Edge of Light; a waiting place before they are taken up by a giant being and brought to the wall of light where they will enter heaven.
At the wall of light, a child appears from the light. No words a spoken, however each spirit hears messages from the child. The child approaches the spirit and takes them by the hand and leads them into the wall of light.
After being purified by fire, the spirit is led into the entrance of heaven where they are greeted by a predecease relative who escorts them to their new home in heaven and instructs them of all the wonders of heaven.
Being a spiritual person and belief in the spiritual world, made an easy write for all of the short stories. There are some scripture quotes at the end of the book to correlate some of the events.
The book is intended to give the reader some insight to the spiritual world and hope of the continuance of life after death. No particular religion is mentioned in this book.
