Jo Meserve Machabout this book: MyaGrace Wants To Get Ready
As we've shared stories with Finding My Way Books we've been fortunate to be able to follow MyaGrace as she is growing up. This is a super fun story about her getting ready to go to her school dance. Her younger brother is her helper as she practices dancing. She has the most fun at the beauty salon and she shares her incredible joy of being included in a typical school even. We plan to do future books about MyaGrace.
• "Finding My Way Books are spectacular story resources that feature youth and adults living inclusive lives. Beautifully illustrated with photographs and delightfully presented for kids and adults alike."
— Jack Pearpoint; Inclusion Press; Marsha Forest Centre
• "The books are written by a team of educators and professionals who have combined years of experience in working with children with special needs; they launched the series to help increase the visibility of kids with disabilities in children's books through authentic stories. Realistic, accessible, and uplifting, these books are an important resource not only for kids who have special needs but for broader audiences of children who can learn from the protagonists'' strengths, challenges, and achievements. All books are available in English and Spanish."
— Lydia Breiseth; Colorín Colorado
