Kathryn R. Blakeabout this book: When Pam Weston was ordered to report to the CEO of Peterson Enterprises she had no idea her new boss had hired her specifically as his next pet project, so she took the assignment suspecting he would fire her before the end of the day. Recognizing a prison record rendered her unemployable by most companies, she worked hard and kept a low profile. Except, working as an executive assistant for the CEO was about as "high profile" as any job could get. And working for Robert Peterson in particular would present Pam with challenges she never expected.
Though she realizes more than anyone that she's not perfect, when her boss suggests Pam undergo a complete makeover she begins to doubt herself even more. Why did he hire her if all he wanted to do was change her?
Readers who like spanking romances should enjoy the way Pam finds the courage within herself to hold her own against the billionaire CEO who hired her. Abused as a child, and tainted by a term in prison for murdering her abuser, Pam has doubts about remaining on as Robert Peterson's executive assistant, especially after she learns he employs the tenets of domestic discipline and spanks his assistants when he believes their behavior warrants correction.
