Wendy and Charles Siefkenabout this book: A friend had asked me to do a story about a man who decides to start his life over. He leaves everything he knows behind. He gave me the idea of how a man could disappear. I did my research and found out how a man could go missing and not have the police look for them.
I did a ride a long with the local police department to ask questions about their common procedures and if they were pretty much the same state to state. It was a really fun experience and I learned a lot.
The hardest part was keeping the story short. It was entered into a contest and it had to be under 5,000 words. I really enjoyed this story and loved the research that I was able to do as well.
I hope that anyone who has a dream, whether it be to write, sing, or what ever your heart desires. You go after that dream. Never be one of those people who regrets they didn't try.
