Vince Guzman about this book: Skip Trace, a book of three short stories that explore situations in which characters unexpectedly discover that the light is often filled with shadows. The title story, (written while at work on little sheets of paper), is a tale of fantasy where thievery might not be such a good idea as every unpleasant action leads to unimaginable circumstance. The other tales could, and I have a feeling do, happen in real life…the part that we never hear about because people keep secrets and sometimes take them to the grave. Throughout this book, though it is skewed towards the darkness, there is a lesson for readers to heed; that the fabric of their lives can take a turn for the worse and to be aware. Walk this world with both eyes open because one ever knows when the crumbling begins, and it's not so easy to rebuild. The book cover is an original piece of artwork; simple and elegant and slightly ominous with a hint of foreboding. Skip Trace, will leave the reader pondering as the final word is read.
