Nancy Morgan about this book: Daisy Chain is a collection of short stories with one unique twist - each story begins with the last line of the previous story. Even the last story, which begins with the last line of the previous story and ends with the first line of the first story. I got the idea for this some years ago when I took a writing class and the teacher assigned us to write 10 great first lines for a story and then choose one and write the story. I find that women especially like this book, perhaps because I generally write from a woman's point of view. The stories are from a variety of genres, none of them related in any way. It probably took 3 or 4 months to write - each time I finished a story, I was inspired by the line that would lead to the next one. I know that short stories have not been as popular today as they used to be when I was a young reader, I do find that a lot of people say they don't have time to read but they tell me that they enjoy having a short story for those moments when they do have time. And according to my reviews on Amazon, a lot of people can't stop at just one story. My characters, although quirky, are not unlikable and I try to achieve pacing that will keep the reader's interest.
