Ted Taylerabout this book: A collection of twelve short stories that deal with all sorts of subjects. A tender love story between an elderly bookshop owner and a young schoolteacher; a crazed fan who kidnaps members of various boy bands to form a supergroup! There are some ghostly tales and stories of revenge. The one thing they all share is a sting in the tale! A twist or double twist that keeps the reader guessing until the final page.
Inspired by Roald Dahl's 'Tales of the Unexpected' this homage has something for everyone, young or old.
I wrote these stories over the summer months of 2013; it was a labour of love as I wanted to see whether my first novel 'The Final Straw' had been a one-off! Once I realised there were many more tales to be told I wrapped up these short stories and started on the sequel to my novel.
I hope you enjoy reading these stories; perhaps they will encourage you to take another look at what I have to offer?
