Book: I Haven't Lost My Marbles...They Just All Rolled To One Side by Gary R. Hoffmancategories: Book, Quirky, Fiction, Humor, Easy Reading, Twists and Turns, Short Stories
Gary R. Hoffmanabout this book: This is a collection of twenty-five of my short stories. If you look at the title and also the imprint—Southern Weird from Mockingbird Lane Press—it should become apparent these are quirky stories to say the least. They run the gamut of a man opening a drive-thou funeral home to someone robbing a house only to find themselves in the middle of a murder.
These stories have evolved over a period of several years. The cartoonish cover just seemed to fit the contents of the book.
Most of my research for this book came from just watching people and, in some cases, trying to imagine them in other situations than they were in.
What I want my readers to get from this book is a fun experience. Most of these stories can be read in one setting. Nothing is heavy or do they have to remember one plot and how it mixes with another. Just sit back and enjoy a fun time.
