Martin Crosbieabout this book: Lies I Never Told is a collection of three previously unpublished stories, two published stories and the first chapters of four of Martin Crosbie's novels.
"The Absence Of Guilt" is the story of a long-lost love rediscovered in an online friends site.
"Almost Angel" is the tale of two college students, one naieve and impressionable and the other more experienced, and the dangerous road they travel together.
"Blind Men Don't Cry" is the story of a man's experience as he tracks down his wayward, possibly drug-addicted daughter.
"Any Night But Friday" is a touching tale of a man's remembrances of his alcoholic uncle.
I've enjoyed writing these stories perhaps more than any other work I've published. The tales are more personal than anything else I've written and they seem to have struck a chord with readers as many of them have told me that they relate to the feelings experienced by the characters. Really it's a collection of stories about decisions and consequences. I hope you enjoy it.
