Charlene Wexlerabout this book: "Elephants In The Room is short stories and essays about life—coming of age, family and friends, animals, the passing parade, and senior moments. The stories make you laugh, but they also make you think. I was inspired to write it because I have always used writing as therapy, but my readers find my writing therapeutic as well. Women are primarily my readers, but men enjoy getting a good chuckle rom my work, too. This book took me about two years to write, since I released my last two books in 2014: "Lori" and "Murder Across the Ocean." The title is from one of my short stories from within the book, but we all have elephants in the room that we try not to acknowledge, don't we? I just want to tell my readers thank you for your great feedback and for the joy you get from what I write! I appreciate, for example, what two reviewers have said: "Charlene Wexler's work is always fun and full of warmth and wit!" and "I've been waiting for Charlene Wexler to do another book of short stories and essays. Great to be able to read one of her books in short bursts and come back to it again and again. There's a lot of funny in this book, and a lot that makes you think, too. People of all ages can enjoy her light and breezy style. Thanks, Char, for your latest gem!"
