Earl Inmanabout this book: When I reached my 70's, I wasn't happy the way life was treating me. My "Golden Years" were not what I had envisioned or, more correctly, what I was led to believe by the marketeers. Not only was life dull and boring, but it was also taking a health and financial toll on me. Sound familiar? Rather than whining and complaining, however, I decided to do something about it. I found out that despite my age, there was a lot more I could do with my life. I had spent my working life in corporate America toiling in communications and public relations.
I now found new interests that redefined me. Interests that revealed parts of me that I didn't know existed. I ended up on the stage in plays like The Crucible and Romeo and Juliet for the first time since the third grade when I played in The Wonderful One-Horse Shay. I became involved with politics. My only past experience was voting. I published my first book. I even showed up as an extra in several films. These experiences gave purpose to my life. They gave me a reason to get up in the morning. At the same time, these passions bouyed my health and helped my bottom line. With my life experiences as backdrop, I lay out the steps you can take to likewise. But don't take my word for it. Read the book and find out for yourself!
