Randolph N. Alvis about this book: A Carpenter Named Savior reveals how God wants each and everyone of us to live our lives. To have a selfless personality, one that cares more about your fellow man's well being more than your own. God proved to me in the darkest time in my life, that the things we place value on in this life don't really have much value at all. I remember reading in the Bible about the Blessing of 'sweet sleep' and I thought, how corny is that. During my depression I went 3 straight days without a minute of sleep and now I thank God every morning when I awake and tell him 'Lord God thank you for Blessing me with 'sweet sleep.' Slow down and start evaluating what really matters in this life. God does his most incredible work in vessels who are broken. This process usually takes you to very dark places, but in his infinite wisdom, the result always reveals the perfect plan for your life.
