Allen Pollensabout this book: Canonized Saint, Pope John XXIII, Is Chapter Focus in 2013 Sci-Fi Thriller "CREATOR II"
"CREATOR II" Chapter 30, "The Good Pope," is set in December of 2019. "When I wrote 'CREATOR II – Human Behavior Explored,'" shares author, Allen Pollens, "I had no notion that Pope John XXIII would be made a saint in the following year. This now presents itself as an omission in my story. However, all else in the very human characterization of Pope John XXIII, is consistent with the facts of his remarkable life."
In the author's first Creator book, the Guardians of the Universes meet to discuss the unacceptable behavior of Earth's humans. Wars and other violence have to stop or the Guardians will eradicate the species. Earth's Creator forewarns possible actions in 2025 and 2035. Professor Thomas Scribner embarks on a 25-year mission to save humanity. In "CREATOR II – Human Behavior Explored," the Guardians of the Universes summon historian Jeffrey Lerner to attend a second important meeting. He accepts an assignment to uncover the origins of irrational human behavior that has led to endless wars and other violence. The Guardians grant him the ability to travel into the past. The university subsequently approves Lerner's research and allows him two student assistants. The trio begins by seeking study areas composed of sizeable populations. They settle on the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and male domination of women.
"Creator II" presents readers with the exciting opportunity to join Jeffrey Lerner on his time travels into the past as he witnesses important events and converses with persons who shaped the world.
