David Ericksonabout this book: Mankind's Worst Fear is the fourth novel I've written, but the first to be published. It is two stories intertwined from the first chapter until near the end where the two protagonists, Captain Schumer and Colonel O'Brian finally meet. This is an action adventure novel with a time travel theme.
I believe the novel is fine for all audiences, but since there is no sex and moderate violence (no gory details) it's especially well suited for young adults.
Since this deals with time travel, I took the time to consider all the known methods and settled on Typler's Cylinder as the most compatible theory. The original theory stipulates that the device must be of infinite size, but that is unworkable so the device has been minaturized. The details of the technology employed throughout the novel are sufficient to familiarize you with the them, but not explicit.
As an avid reader of science fiction and action/adventure, I'm comfortable that a wide range of readers will find my novel entertaining.
