S.K. Holder

about this book: The Red Caves tells the story of Skelos Dorm and the events that take place in the weeks prior to his exile to the lands of Narrigh. The caves are inhabited by a race of sub-humans, known as Outsiders.

This story is set on Skelos's home planet of Odisiris, which lies within the Andromeda galaxy. He is a disgraced scientist who is determined to rise to power no matter what the costs. He is driven by a need for supremacy and exoneration for his past misdeeds.

Choosing the title and the cover for this book wasn't too difficult. The Red Caves seemed an apt name because it is the setting for the story. The hardest part was checking the story for inconsistences, which have a tendency to creep in when one is writing a series.

The story about three months to write and another three weeks to revise.

It is a stand-alone story for adults. However, readers can continue to follow Skelos's adventures in The Quest of Narrigh.
